What is cold compressed food and why is it different to extruded kibble?
Cold compressed food, also known as cold pressed, is gently produced at lower temperatures (typically under 60°C) compared to traditional extruded kibble (which can reach over 120°C). This gentler process helps to preserve the natural nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes in the ingredients, which can often be degraded by high heat. It also results in a denser, slower-to-digest kibble that can help with satiety and reduce bloating. For your dog, this means a more natural, digestible, and nutrient-rich meal.
Put simply it has the nutritional benefits of a raw diet in the convenience of dry food.
How quickly is the food delivered?

Therefore from placing your order to delivery can take 4/5 working days, so please bear this in mind when placing your order. (Working days are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). Wet food or dry food what is best?
It's really all about personal choice. Wet food often boasts a higher moisture content, which is crucial for maintaining hydration. This extra moisture supports urinary tract health and kidney function. Additionally, wet foods are typically less processed and often contain higher protein levels with fewer carbohydrates than dry kibble, making them a more biologically appropriate diet. The palatability is also usually much higher, encouraging even picky eaters.
Dry dog food, or kibble, offers, dental health supportand balanced nutrition. The crunchy texture helps reduce plaque and tartar buildup on teeth; it is usually more economical, provides a higher caloric density, and is easier to store! High quality dry dog foods are formulated to meet the nutritional needs of dogs and form a complete and balanced diet.
